English language requirement:
English Language requirements vary between institutions.
All students must be fluent in English if they are applying to Canadian Institutes. International students need to have required level of English language competence. All students should take up the IELTS or TOEFL(ibt) exams. An IELTS band of 6.5 for Undergraduate & 6.5/7 for Postgraduate courses or a TOEFL score of 80 and above for Undergraduate and 90 and above for Post Graduate courses is desirable. For Diploma and Advanced Diploma 6.0 in IELTS or equivalent other test score is required.
IELTS: You will need to obtain at least 6.0 in IELTS. This is one of the most accepted tests all over the world.
TOEFL: TOEFL can be taken both in paper-based and internet-based forms. The minimum score required for an internet-based test is 90-100.
PTE: PTE test is gaining popularity and acceptance. It has a validity of two years.
GMAT: It applies to students who wish to pursue MBA in Canada. The GMAT has a validity of five years.
MCAT: Students who wish to pursue their MBBS in Canada will have to appear for the MCAT
